Reynard is the resident jazz pianist in Le Bar Anubis, and has been for as long as anyone can remember. He's a frustrated artiste, longing to be named alongside such legends as Art Tatum and Oscar Peterson, but has never been able to make the break. Nevertheless, he's happy where he is, as long as he's playing and someone's listening.

Reynard and Sax (being one of the bar's more permanent residents) go back a long way, and Sax comes to Reynard whenever he needs moral or psychological support. Reynard never asks for anything in return, except for their regular late-night jam sessions.
